I finally got to see Breaking Dawn yesterday, I read all the books a long time ago so I've been eagerly waiting the films. Breaking Dawn is my favourite of the books so I've been so anxious to see the film, and it did live up to my expectations.
They did an amazing job with the wedding and the honeymoon and how gaunt and deathly Bella looked when she was pregnant, my God!

I went with my sister and my mum, my little brother was in the middle of building one of his lego star wars sets so he didn't come with us, but I'm kind of glad he didn't as the film was definitely suited to a 12a, there's not a huge amount of sex though there's enough, and all the birthing stuff is a bit gruesome!
I might have to be a sad fan and watch it again! Cool

Charles Manson ordered Atkins, Kasabian, and Krenwinkel to go to Polanski and Tate’s house and “totally destroy everyone in it, as gruesome as you can”. The occupants of the home were: the actress Sharon Tate, Polanski’s eight and a half month pregnant wife; Jay Sebring, a noted hair stylist; Wojciech Frykowski, an aspiring screenwriter; and Abigail Folger, Frykowski’s lover.

Upon arriving at the home, Watson cut the house’s phone line. As they began to walk towards the property 18 year old student Steven Parent was driving towards the home. Watson shot him dead. Sebring was shot followed by Frykowski. Kasabian, who was outside the home, overheard the massacre and ran in, falsely telling the ‘Family’ members that someone was coming in order to halt the murder spree. Folger was stabbed to death followed by Tate. Atkins then wrote “pig” on the house’s front door in Tates’ blood.
What a load of evil people! I hope the time on their uhrens runs out soon.

Well I finally bit the bullet and decided to open my own vintage shop near Brick Lane.
After months of preparation working down in my dingy cellar, ( or not so dingy these days as the case may be, thanks to my cozy rugs and the brilliant mr 11 LED lights I got to brighten the place up) I am finally ready to announce that my shop will be up and running from the 26th and 27th of this month.

Toiling away in the cellar I have created, tailored, altered and spruced up a huge collection of original and vintage clothing, shoes and accessories for sale at Hunbury Hall Vintage Market, near brick Lane on Saturday and Sunday 26th and 27th of November this month.
Hope to see you there!

Yesterday I went to the cinema twice! First I saw Melancholia, the Lars Von Trier film about depression and the world coming to an end, and second I watched we need to talk about Kevin, the film about a kid who kills loads of people in his school with a crossbow, and whether or not it is his mothers fault her turned out the way he did, and asks the question if people can be born evil. Sound like a lot to take in? It was.

First of all, I was crying half way into Melancholia, but luckily for me being right at the back of the screen, the only near by lights were the little LED DRIVER bulbs on the floor, and because I managed to do a silent head bobbing cry, rather than a full on wail, I don't think anybody noticed.
But by the time I had seen the world end, and then seen what this horrible kid did to his poor mother, I was slightly desensitized to it. Don't get me wrong, both films were arguably masterpieces in their own way, and are other than their slightly morbid content, have nothing in common. But having seen them back to back made me compare them, which isn't really fair to either film. I think that seeing them both next to each other, considerably lessened the impact either would have had one me if I had seen each one individually.
Verdict - Don't try and watch 2 films of that emotional magnitude in the same day. Not because it will make you want to slit your wrists, but because it won't.

I've been with my new beau for six months now and things are going really well, it's lovely, but I'm starting to get a bit miffed that he's not a bit more romantic.
Don't get me wrong, I don't expect full on romance all the time, but I don't really get anything ever! We just hang out, don't have proper dates and he never really does anything more than that.

It was our six month anniversary last week and he had to go to Glasgow for work, so I thought he might have left something behind for me, but I got nothing! I mean, they do have flower delivery scotland you know!
I thought maybe he'd make up for it when he got back but he didn't! Just "sorry we couldn't go out for our anniversary babe" but no effort to have a six-month-and-one-week anniversary make up date or anything.
